DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Neither of our counselors are currently accepting insurance at this time. However, we are happy to provide paperwork for clients who are interested in contacting their own insurance companies to seek reimbursement.
Payment for services can be made by cash, check, or credit card (including HSA cards).
WHAT IS THE FEE FOR COUNSELING?
Each counselor at River Glen Counseling sets her own rate per clinical hour (50 minute sessions). Our counselors also have a limited number of spaces available for clients in need of a sliding scale. Please contact one of our counselors to learn more or to inquire about availability.
Packages for premarital counseling are also available. Packages include the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment and eight sessions. Contact Lauren for pricing.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
For cancellations, we request notice 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. If the client cancels within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment, the client will be responsible for 50% the cost of the session. If the client does not give notice that they will not be able to make the session, the client will be responsible for the full cost of the session. No charge will be made for a late cancellation or a missed session without first notifying the client.
At times, we understand that life events such as sickness, car troubles, or other unforeseen happenings can make it impossible to give 24 hours notice. Compassion will be extended in these circumstances and we ask that compassion be extended in return to the counselor if life catches her off guard.
